We are proud to share that we had 6 medalists at this past Saturday’s wrestling tournament, and the team showed great effort all around! Highlights included:
• Gavin Everts (75 lbs) placed 6th and put up 11 team points in his first year of wrestling
• Matthew Gilmartin (155 lbs) placed 4th and scored 19.5 team points
• Joseph McColor (167 lbs) dominated the day and took 1st place overall
• Christopher Aramouni placed 5th
• Mayar Alsaba (215 lbs) placed 3rd
• Adrien Felton had a strong performance, losing only one very close match and finishing 2nd
Coaches also want to give a shoutout to Logan Walters, who fought hard and earned his first pin and win of the tournament- a great milestone! We are very proud of this group. They stepped out of their comfort zone, tried new things, and gained valuable experience. It was a great day of growth and learning for our team.
