Cross Country Meet INFO for Oct. 7th

Posted on 10/06/2025
TUESDAY October 7th is our last meet of the season and it is the Fox and Hounds race in Algonac.  There is a 2-way bus for this event.  Students will be dismissed early from school. We will be sharing a bus with the high school cross country team.

The middle school boys and girls run together for this race and their race starts at 4pm.  They will have completed their race by 4:30pm at the latest.  The high school runs after the middle school.

Parents are allowed to take their athletes home after their race, I just ask that you notify me or Coach Worthington from the high school team that you are taking them with you so we have a proper count for the bus trip home.  The bus should return to Page sometime between 7pm and 8pm.

There will be no practice on Wednesday.  This should give everyone a day to get the cross country uniforms washed so they can be turned in to me on Thursday.  On Thursday we will meet at Civic Center Park at our normal time, 4:00pm, for our last get together for the season where we will provide some pizza for the athletes!

Cross Country Meet INFO for Sept. 23rd

Updated on 09/22/2025
Hi Page Cross Country Parents,

Our next meet is on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Port Huron Central Middle School.  There is a 2-way bus for this meet!  The bus will pick up our athletes from Page Middle School at 4:15 pm.  Please have the students there so that we are not late arriving to the meet.  The athletes can stay after school, if necessary, in the auditorium.  I will be there to supervise them around 3:30 pm.  The boys and girls run together at 6:15 pm.  I'm hoping to be back at Page between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm.  If your athlete has a cell phone they can call/text you with an ETA when we are on our way back.

Let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

Cross Country Meet INFO for Sept. 16th

Posted on 09/15/2025
Hello Cross Country Parents,

First and foremost, a great job by all of our athletes on Saturday!  Every runner that participated attained a new personal record (PR) for their time!

Our next meet is Tuesday, September 16, 2025.  It is also our one and only home meet!  We will be marking the course today after practice.  The meet will start promptly at 4:30pm at Civic Center Park.  The bus will pick up the athletes at Page at 3:30pm.  Athletes can wait in the Page Auditorium until the bus arrives.  I will be there to be with them around 3pm-3:15pm.

If any parents are willing to volunteer tomorrow at the meet, we will need the following:  A parent to help identify the athletes at the finish line and record their name, school, and time.  There will be a sheet for recording this on.  A parent or two to hand out numbered sticks to the finishers to assist with the recording of their information and lastly, a few parents to position themselves at key turns to make sure the athletes don't make the wrong turns.  If you are available to assist, please meet at Civic Center Park no later than 4pm.

We have also added one team to the meet, Hazel Park Middle School, so it will be Page, Southfield Christian, and Hazel Park for tomorrow's meet.

I hope to see everyone there!!  GO PANTHERS!!
