We NEED HELP working the Chains at the Home Football Games

Posted on 09/09/2025

Hey Page family! Anybody who has interest in working the chains for the following Page MS Football games at Lamphere High School (see below), please contact Mrs. Robin Schmidt (robin.schmidt@lamphereschools.org) or Mr. Chapman (timothy.chapman@lamphereschools.org).

This can give you an up-close view of the game! Plus, you will be helping our football family out as we strive for victory!

NO EXPERIENCE is necessary- it will only take about 1 minute to train you how to do it and you'll be great!

Page Football Team Expectations

Welcome to the 7th & 8th Grade Football Team! We are excited for a great season of growth, competition, and teamwork. Please review the following expectations carefully. These apply to all athletes and families throughout the season.

Athlete Requirements

Before participating, every athlete must have:

  • Valid Physical – Completed, signed, and dated for the current school year.
  • Big Teams Profile – Fully updated and completed online.
  • Equipment Needs – Any special equipment (braces, mouthguards, etc.) must be brought and used daily.

Practice Expectations

  • Attendance: Be on time, prepared, and ready to work every day.
  • Effort & Attitude: Respect your coaches, teammates, and the game. We expect full effort and a positive mindset.
  • Communication: If you will be absent or late, notify your coach ahead of time (best method of communication listed at the end).

Game Day Expectations

  • Dress Code: Wear team-issued gear as directed (jersey, pants, undershirt (JPMS colors), socks, etc.).
  • Before the Game: Arrive on time, stay focused, and follow pre-game warm-up procedures.
  • During the Game: Compete with maximum effort, support teammates, and show respect to officials and opponents.
  • After the Game: Shake hands, clean up the sidelines/locker room, and leave with pride as a representative of your school.

Character Development

We believe that football builds leaders both on and off the field.

  • In the Classroom: Athletes must maintain passing grades in at least five classes to be eligible. Represent the team with respect for teachers and peers.
  • In Competition: Show great sportsmanship at all times—toward teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and fans.

Playing Time Philosophy

Playing time is earned, not guaranteed. Coaches will consider:

  • Attendance and effort at practices.
  • Attitude and coachability.
  • Execution of plays and knowledge of assignments.
  • Team-first behavior on and off the field.

Players who want to increase their playing time should show consistency, effort, and a team-first attitude every day.

Incident & Conflict Resolution

We expect all athletes to follow team rules. Inappropriate behavior or actions harmful to the team will be addressed as follows:

  • 1st Offense: Verbal warning and conversation with coach.
  • 2nd Offense: Loss of playing time or suspension from practice/game. Parent contact made.
  • 3rd Offense: Possible removal from the team (decision made with athletic director/principal.)

Other Expectations

  • Be a positive representative of your school at all times.
  • Social media use should reflect maturity and respect—no posts that embarrass yourself, the team, or the school.
  • Take care of all equipment and uniforms issued to you.
