Dear Athletes and Families,

First, we are PROUD of you for being interested and involved in our athletics programs this year. I can speak volumes of how important it can be and all of the benefits that come from being involved in sports. I am glad you have that much PRIDE in yourself and your school.

I am writing to let you know that in order to participate, you will need to get a current sports physical (dated after April 15 of 2025), as well as entering your emergency information into our NEW Big Teams Information System and/or send your paperwork to the Main Office. EVEN IF YOU THINK you might want to play a sport, we would advise you go through this process.

For any student of the Lamphere District, MedPro Urgent Care Clinic (at 13 Mile and John R) is offering FREE sports physicals to current students of the district.

Please call and arrange a time (at LEAST three weeks before the season) to get your physical and upload it into your Big teams profile/account, if you haven’t already.

I know this may seem like a slight inconvenience and takes a little time, but the reason for all of this is for your child’s SAFETY and HEALTH. By having this information online, our coaches, administrators, and other school officials have quick access to the information that will keep everyone safe and informed. It is also HIGHLY ADVISED to make a copy of these documents (ask your physician to make a photocopy), that way you have it for your records as well.

The first thing is to GO AND GET A PHYSICAL ASAP, completed by a certified doctor.

Next, you will need to enter your information in the online Big Teams system. Please use the attachments I have included to go onto Big Teams and enter this information. Once this is done ONCE, it will stay there for as long as your child is in the Lamphere District. If there is any issue with your Big Teams account, you may need to contact them at 866-448-9438, Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm.
