Dear Page Middle School Families,

We hope this letter finds you well. In an effort to continuously improve the experiences we offer our school community, we would like to remind you of our district policy regarding students attending after-school sporting and extracurricular events, like robotics competitions and theater performances.

We continue to be committed to providing a secure environment for all students, and as such, we have reviewed our safety protocols and will continue our expectation for students who attend after-school sporting and extracurricular events to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. This practice has been in place at Lamphere High School so we are aiming for consistency, and it is a common practice across most middle schools in the area.

This decision was made with the safety and well-being of our students in mind. While our school staff and event organizers are dedicated to creating a positive and enriching experience for all participants, we believe that having an adult present will be beneficial for supervision reasons and will create a safer, more enjoyable experience for all spectators and guests.

All students will have received information about this new expectation, and has been planned purposefully so that everyone has a common understanding moving forward.
