Over the weekend, the Lady Panthers went 2-0 in the weekend tournament hosted by Royal Oak. In Game 1 vs. Novi, the Lady Panthers won 9-3 by striking early in the first inning with almost every batter getting on base. The top of the lineup, Araceli Guajardo-Damron, Lily Dodson, Maya Clark Courtney, Savannah Sides, Jazzlyn Marshall, Layal Thomas-Guhy and Heidi Hilla all came up strong at the plate. In Game 2 vs. Berkley, the Lady Panthers continued to work hard, taking the victory 13-6. Amelia Anderson came up with a big hit, while Rhilyyn Martin had aggressive baserunning and a good eye at the plate. Taylin Tosto made a game saving catch in right field to help secure the victory.
